Photos from the progress on the K18. The Trumpeter Kit is ausumn! 401 parts accompanied with PE, shock absorbers and rubber tires. The construction goeson smoothly and the kit´s detail is fantastic. Some spots required trimming and putty and i have dealed with few mold leftover.
Fotos de trabajo de K18 en curso. El kit de Trumpeter es impresionante! Tiene 401 piezas y da fotograbados , muelles , ruedas de goma. La construcción va bien ( no como el FAMO con cientos fotograbados) y el detalle que tiene el equipo es fantástico! Algunos puntos tomaron papel de lija y masilla y he encontrado hasta ahora muy poco flash.
Φωτογραφίες από την πρόοδο εργασιών στο Κ18. Το κιτ της τρομπέτας είναι φοβερό! Έχει 401 κομμάτια και δίνει ΡΕ, ελατήρια, τροχούς από καουτσούκ. Η κατασκευή προχωράει ικανοποιητικά (δεν είναι σαν το ΦΑΜΟ με τα εκατοντάδες ΡΕ) και η λεπτομέρεια που έχει το κιτ είναι φανταστική! Μερικά σημεία χρειάστηκαν γυαλόχαρτο και στόκο και αντιμετώπισα μέχρι στιγμής πολύ λίγο φλας.

The firing bases have been set to march position and i have nearly finished with the wheels.
Las bases de cocción están instalados en posición de marcha y casi me acabaron con las ruedas .
Έχουν τοποθετηθεί οι βάσεις βολής σε θέση πορείας και έχω σχεδόν τελειώσει με τους τροχούς.
I am almost done with the gun carriage (the wheels are not glued). I will shorten the shock absorbers iot seem more realistic and i will place the 4 PE. I am also thinking the crew access ramps (if i will put them down or up). The instructions say that they were up in march position. I will see if lowered affect the movement of the forward trailer of the gun carriage.
Casi heterminado con el chassis del cañon ( las ruedas no están pegadas ) ! Acorté los muelles para que cuando están pegados a sus asientos se vean de manera realista y luego voy a poner 4 fotograbados . También he pensado en las rampas de acceso de tripulación ( si las pongo en marcha ó bajadas).Las instrucciones me dicen que en posición de marcha fueran elevadas (lógico ) . Voy a ver si las pongo bajas afectan a la libre circulación de la camioneta de frente.
Σχεδόν τελείωσα με τον κιλίβαντα του πυροβόλου (οι ρόδες δεν έχουν κολληθεί)! Θα μικρύνω τα ελατήρια έτσι ώστε όταν κολληθούν στις θέσεις τους να είναι αληθοφανή και να τοποθετήσω και 4 ΡΕ. Επίσης σκέφτομαι για τις ράμπες του πληρώματος του πυρ/λου (αν θα τις βάλω σε θέση πορείας ή κατεβασμένες) Το κιτ μου λέει ότι σε θέση πορείας ήταν ανεβασμένες (λογικό). Θα δω αν επηρεάζουν κατεβασμένες την ελεύθερη κίνηση της μπροστά καρότσας.
Τhe gun carriage has finished and the metal RB barrel has been placed. Mr Surfacer 500 has been used to fill seams, pin and ejection marks. The gun elevation and pullback works perfectly. Watch the brass tubes that come along with the kit!
Terminó la base del cañon , el barril de metal de los modelos RB está en su puesto y Mr Surface 500 se ha utilizado para llenar los vacíos , marcas de pines y de expulsión. La dirección de elevación del cañon es funcional , como el retraso de el ! Observe los tubos de latón , que da la compañía con el kit !
Έχει τελειώσει η βάση του πυροβόλου, έχει τοποθετηθεί η μεταλλική κάννη της RB Models και έχει χρησιμοποιηθεί για την κάλυψη κενών, pin & ejection marks, το mr surface 500. H διεύθυνση καθ’ ύψος του πυροβόλου είναι λειτουργική, όπως και η οπισθοδρόμησή του! Παρατηρήστε τα brass tubes, τα οποία δίνει η εταιρία μαζί με το κιτ!

The gun has been primed with Tamiya Grey and later i will paint with XF-9 (Hull Red Tamiya) iot pass Mig Productions chipping fluid.
El cañon está pintado con una imprimación gris fina de TAMIYA . Luego lo pintaré con XF- 9 (Casco Rojo, TAMIYA ) Seguido , para pasar posteriormente a Chipping del Mig Productions y hacer el Chipping .
Το πυροβόλο έχει ασταρωθεί με ένα πολύ λεπτό γκρί αστάρι της ΤΑΜΙΥΑ. Θα ακολουθήσει βάψιμο με το XF-9 (Hull Red, TAMIYA), έτσι ώστε να περαστεί εν συνεχεία με το Chipping της Mig Productions και να γίνει το τσίπινγκ.
The gun was painted with XF-9 (Tamiya Hull Red) and later with Vallejo´s 71039 (Marron rojizo -Hull Red). Vallejo´s Hull Red is darker than the one of Tamiya, so i painted some of the surfaces for colour modulation purposes. Later Mig´s Heavy Chipping fluid comes and Vallejo´s Model Air Dunkelgelb and the chipping technique.
El cañon fue pintado con XF9 ( TAMIYA – Hull rojo) y luego con el 71 039 Vallejo Model Air ( Marron rojizo – casco rojo). El Vaiiejo casco rojo es más oscuro que el de TAMIYA , y lo he usado para pintar algunas superficies para razones de modulación. Más tarde se Heavy Chipping del Mig Productions y luego el Dunlegelb de Vallejo Model Air y hacer la tecnica de chipping.
Το πυρ/λο περάστηκε με το XF9 (TAMIYA – Hull red) και εν συνεχεία με το 71039 της Vallejo Model Air (Marron rojizo – hull red). To hull red της vaiiejo είναι πιο σκούρο από αυτό της ΤΑΜΙΥΑ, οπότε περάστηκε από πάνω σε ορισμένες επιφάνειες για modulation. Αργότερα θα μπει το Heavy chipping της Mig Productions και εν συνεχεία το Dunlegelb της vallejo model air και θα γίνει το ανάλογο τσίπινγκ.
I have added from plastic sheet the cover, that Germans were putting above the gun´s retractor and the hinges with their chains (PE leftovers).
He añadido la cubierta de lámina de plástico , lo que pusieran a los alemanes como armadura adicional sobre el retrocedor y también los ganchos con sus cadenas ( restos de fotograbados ) .
Προστέθηκε από φύλλο πλαστικού το κάλυμμα, το οποίο έβαζαν οι Γερμανοί ως θωράκιση πάνω από τον επανατάκτη και οι λαβές από τα άγκιστρα ασφάλισης μαζί με τις αλυσίδες τους (περισσεύματα ΡΕ από άλλα κιτ).
The gun was sprayed with Mig´s Chipping fluid and afterwards with Vallejo´s Dunkelgelb. Painting will continue with Olivgrun tomorrow.
He pasado el cañon con Heavy Chipping de Mig y luego con Dunkelgelb de Vallejo . La pintura continuará con Olivegrun mañana.
Το πυροβόλο ψεκάστηκε με υγρό ξεφλουδίσματος της Μιγκ και στη συνέχεια με το dunkelgelb της Vallejo. Η βαφή θα συνεχιστεί με Olivegrun αύριο.
Vallejo´s Olivgrun has been painted. I have used Tamiya´s masking tape and here is the result!

The gun is ready with its tires in position. Reflectors, light and the spears ( white parts left to be painted).
¡El cañon está listo y los neumáticos puestos ! He pintado los reflectores, la luz y las lanzas ( faltan las partes blancas ).
Το πυρ/λο είναι έτοιμο και με τα ελαστικά του περασμένα! Έχουν βαφτεί οι αντανακλαστήρες, το φως πορείας και τα ακόντια σκόπευσης (μένουν τα άσπρα μέρη).
I have painted and put into position the spears, i used a Sin Industries filter and i made a pin wash with AK´s Wash for Dark Yellow Vehicles. Finally i made chipping with a fine brush and a sponge. Tomorrow i will continue with chipping in the gun carriage and the canon´s moving parts.
He pintado y colocado las lanzas marcadores , pasó el cañon con filtro de Sin Industries , y he hecho pin wash con el Wash para Dark Yellow Vehículos de AK . Finalmente he hecho chipping con una brocha fina y esponja . Todavía hay mucho que hacer. Mañana voy a tratar con la finalización de Chipping en embarcaciones y puntos del retroceso del cañon.
Βάφτηκαν και τοποθετήθηκαν τα επισημαντικά ακόντια, περάστηκε το πυρ/λο με φίλτρο της Sin Industries, και έγινε πιν γουός με το Wash for Dark Yellow Vehicles της ΑΚ. Τέλος άρχισα σιγά σιγά το τσίπινγκ με πινέλο και με σφουγγαράκι. Έχει ακόμα αρκετό δρόμο και αρκετές φθορές να γίνουν. Αύριο θα ασχοληθώ με την ολοκλήρωση του τσίπινγκ στη σκάφη και στα σημεία που οπισθοδρομεί το πυρ/λο.
I have made chipping with a sponge at selected spots.
He hecho chipping con la esponja en puntos elejidos y donde retrocede el cañon.
Έγιναν φθορές με σφουγγαράκι με φειδώ και σε επιλεγμένα σημεία και τσίπινγκ στα σημεία που οπισθοδρομεί το πυρ/λο.
